Pricing and Payment

Monarch Sports tries to maintain consistent pricing, however, we reserve the right to amend the prices, when necessary, for any reason without any prior notice.

All prices for all the products available on the Monarch Sports website are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include Goods and Services Tax (15% GST).

Monarch Sports will provide all its customers with a Tax Invoice for all accepted orders via info@monarchsports.co.nz

Payment for orders placed on the Monarch Sports website can be made by using credit/debit cards (Visa, Master), PayPal, or via cash (if available).

If Monarch Sports suspect any fraudulent use of the Monarch Sports website or personal or payment details, we reserve the right to put any order on hold while we undertake the necessary checks, including bank checks. Monarch Sports further reserve the right to cancel any transaction following such checks.

Freight Charges Within New Zealand

Monarch Sports aim to provide you with accurate freight quotes when requested.

Standard freight charges apply on all orders for all items on the Monarch Sports website.

Monarch Sports reserves the right to charge additional freight for orders that are heavy, bulky, odd-shaped, need special attention, excessive packing and/or transport, involve delivery to remote/rural areas, and/or carry special delivery instructions from the buyer.

Monarch Sports reserves the right to determine the delivery method for approved orders except for those with special delivery instructions and holds no responsibility for any direct/indirect consequences arising due to late/non-delivery of goods due to events/circumstances beyond our control.


Any order made via the Monarch Sports website is an offer to purchase one or more products. When we receive a valid order, we will accept the offer by confirming to you via email that we have received and are processing the order.

The risk of any loss of, or damage to, the products will pass to you on delivery.

Monarch Sports cannot accept responsibility for non-signature items lost or stolen from the delivery site.

Your track and trace number will be emailed to you. These details will be available once your package has been picked up and scanned by the courier, normally towards the end of the day

Monarch Sports will not be able to alter your order once the order confirmation email has been sent.

You must provide a daytime delivery address where somebody will be available to accept your order. Should this be a business address, please advise the business name or building name.

Monarch Sports will not courier to private bags or Post Office (PO Box) addresses.

Delivery charges include packaging, delivery, and insurance within New Zealand only.

If the courier attempts to deliver an item to you that requires the recipient’s signature, and no-one is available to sign for the item, they will then leave a ‘card to call’ at the delivery address.

If you request your order to be left somewhere, meaning no signature for proof of delivery is obtained, Monarch Sports will not be liable for any claims.

Monarch Sports aim to provide you the delivery of your order as fast as possible by dispatching your order either the same, or the next business day.

In case of any problem with the delivery of your ordered products, Monarch Sports expect you to contact us within 5 days of any non-delivery or damage of your order and we will assist you in tracking the courier consignment.

Monarch Sports expect you to contact us immediately, in case the items are received damaged, are under supplied, or over supplied.

All balls will be supplied in deflated state. However, inflated balls can be supplied on request and may attract additional freight charge.

Monarch Sports shall not be held liable for any late deliveries (or consequences arising out of late deliveries) caused for reasons not under our control.

Tracking your order (New Zealand orders only):

You will receive the “track and trace” details of your order via email, once your order is dispatched. These details will be available online by visiting www.fastway.co.nz and entering the tracking code included in the dispatch email.

Our expectation is that most orders received by 2pm will be shipped the same business day.

If Monarch Sports receive your email order confirmation before 2pm on a weekday, your order should be sent the same day. However, if your order is received after 2pm on a week day then it will be processed the following day. A small number of orders may require extra processing time and will be dispatched the following business day. Your order may be delayed due to the following:

The item requested is currently out of stock.

Rural and some residential areas may take additional time.

Your billing address has been entered incorrectly.

The weekday is a public holiday.


Monarch Sports reserves the right to alter product specifications at any time, which will be done solely to improve the range, quality, and/or availability of the product.

A product delivered might not match exactly to the image shown on the website and should not be used for an activity other than the one described.

Products for kids should be used under adult supervision only, and the selection as well as suitability of the products for children remains a sole discretion of the buyer.


If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with the product, you can raise a request for refund/replacement, whichever available up to 14 days from the purchase date.

The return claim will be approved only if the product is in its original condition, available with the original packing, and the request is raised within 14 days from the purchase date.

The returned product will either be exchanged or the amount will be refunded as a credit note on cash, depending on the situation, and Monarch Sports holds the sole rights to take the decision.

Refunds will not be issued for a product that is ordered incorrectly by the buyer, is no longer required, or is requested for return outside of the available return period.

Freight charges for the delivery of the product will not be refunded and additional charges may/may not be applicable on the delivery of exchanged items.

Monarch Sports will process your refund in the same format as the original purchase (for example, we will credit the same credit card number used to make the purchase.

Should you wish to exchange the item purchased for another item. You will pay any delivery charges applicable for the outgoing replacement item/s.

Monarch Sports are unable to provide a full refund on returned sale items.

Repairs/Faulty goods

Should you consider that the item purchased has a manufacturing fault that can be repaired, we will arrange to have the necessary repairs completed at our cost.

Should the product be outside its warranty conditions, or the fault is caused through fair wear and tear, Monarch Sports should be able to get the product repaired at the customer’s expense.

When it is not possible or practical to repair a product, Monarch Sports will replace the product with the same or similar product if available. Should a replacement not be available you will be given the opportunity to either exchange it for another product to the same value as your original purchase price or a full refund depending on your preference.

Returns Procedure

Use a carton or courier bag, pack product in the original packaging and send to Monarch Sports via a parcel carrier of your choice.

Retain your shipment receipt until you have received your replacement, credit, or refund.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Your products purchased are subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 you may have rights which are not excluded or limited by these terms.

Monarch Sports make sure that their products:

Be of acceptable quality.

Be fit for the purpose as advertised.

Match the description given in advertisements.

Match the demonstration image.

Be owned by the consumer, once purchased.

Be a reasonable price.

Be delivered within a reasonable time.


Fair Trading Act

The Fair Trading Act 1986 is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, availability of products in store and sales techniques used.

Design and/or colour of any product may change without any notice, and Monarch Sports holds no liability for any delay in delivery caused by uncontrollable reasons.

Monarch Sports make sure that they:

Are careful when providing information and aim to have pricing details correct, so customers are entitled to rely on the prices given.

State the GST status of all products.

Disclose Debt collection fees.

Make clear description of products on the Monarch Sports website and a clear statement about the volume or weight of the product.

Be clear in our fine print/Terms and Conditions.

Not accept payment if Monarch Sports cannot supply products within a reasonable time.


You represent and warrant to Monarch Sports that:

You have the legal capacity to enter these terms; and

You will comply with all these terms.
